We’ve enjoyed it many times—whenever we think about getting into the lake, Villa Tacul is our first choice.

The access begins with a trail we love. It’s a 45 to 60-minute walk through native forest of coihues and arrayanes, with gentle ups and downs that keep it dynamic. The environment is quiet, fresh, and very green.

At the end of the trail comes the reward: the lake opens into beaches with intense turquoise tones, with clear and calm water that is truly surprising and contrasts with the Patagonian forest. A corner that feels straight out of a story.

It stands out for its crystal-clear waters, native forest surroundings of coihues and arrayanes, and for being a quieter refuge compared to more central beaches.

Yes, absolutely. It’s one of the places we’ve enjoyed the most and one of the most beautiful beaches in Bariloche. Forest, lake, and silence. It doesn’t require much effort or planning, but it leaves a sense of calm that’s hard to find in more crowded areas.

There is a small shop and bathrooms available near the camping and camper area. It’s recommended to bring cash, as there isn’t always signal for electronic payments.
